All Rescues leave on a spay/neuter contract FREE to an approved pet home.

Dixie is a blk and tan miniature smooth female.  She is 3 years old and has been diagnosed with a bulging disk due to an accidental injury with a larger dog.  With medicine and therapy she has improved wonderfully and is now running and playing.  When adopting Dixie, one must know that she loves to give kisses and be in your lap.  She weighs 10 lbs and would make a great pet for someone without children due to her fragile back.  She is house trained and has always been and indoor/outdoor loving pet.  Her previous owner has taken superb care of her.  He will only allow Dixie to go to an approved family that will love and care for her and have the financial means in the event that a surgery is required.  As of now, Dixie seems to be able to do everything any other Doxie can do.  Note: Jumping should be limited.
